Calculate the raw score on page 2 of the protocol by filling in the number of errors from each set and subtracting from the ceiling item, which is the last item in the ceiling set that was administered.

Example of how the paper should look like is under Assessment #2- PPVT Report Template

Assessment #2: Scoring and Reporting Results from the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test

PPVT Scoring and Report
Calculate the childs age on the protocol by plugging in the date of assessment (4/20/20) and the childs birth date (10/19/2015). Use the calculated age to determine the start set (start age for each set is listed on the protocol).

Print a copy of the PPVT protocol scoring pages from additional materials or open on your computer if you have a way to score it/make marks on the virtual copy.

Score items on the protocol as you watch the PPVT Admin video on the OneDrive (same location as the recorded class lectures):

Note: Remember to circle the number of whatever picture the child points to, but mark the E for errors.

Calculate the raw score on page 2 of the protocol by filling in the number of errors from each set and subtracting from the ceiling item, which is the last item in the ceiling set that was administered.

On the front page of the protocol fill in the raw score, standard score, confidence interval including the range of scores, the stanine and the age equivalent. You can find these values by using the Scoring Conversion tables/charts on Blackboard (look past page one because there are multiple different tables in the same file). You will need all of these values for the report.

Use the PPVT report template from Blackboard to write up a brief report of the PPVT administration you saw in the video. You may make up the childs behavior for the behavioral observation and the reason for the assessment. Fill in the information at the top of the report (e.g., Childs name, date of birth, etc.) using information from the front page of your scored protocol.

Since this report should contain all the scores from the protocol, you do not need to turn in your scored protocol or images of it.
Note: Scores on this assignment will be based on accurate completion of instructed tasks.
