You present an arguable thesis like: the U.S. public school systems should all require their students to wear school uniforms through grades K through twelve because of X, Y, and Z. X, Y, and Z would be your supporting points that would use to defend your thesis in several paragraphs.
At some point, you’d need to offer a section where you acknowledge possible opposing views yo your thesis but then offer counterarguments to them showing why your point of view is the strongest one to have. Then you conclude your paper by restating your thesis and supporting points, hopefully via different wording than previously used, and then you make a final call for action. Throughout the paper, you’d have to use at least two secondary sources.
All drafts and the final product must be typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman (or other acceptable 12 pt. Font). Your margins must be one inch, and you must have a proper MLA heading of four lines and a centered title with all pages numbered as per MLA stipulations (consult your textbooks).
