We took a whirlwind tour of the world in which we live, from an interdisciplinary perspective of International Studies. We talked about what the major global issues are, and what the basic building blocks of the global society are. We also examined in-depth two major global issues: the global climate change and the challenge of global poverty and development. Finally, we took a regional perspective on global realities, discussing Europe/Middle East, the Americas, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. We also discussed your personal perspective on the world.
